Supper Club, Nov 23: Thanksgiving at Follies

My first supper club has come and gone, hopefully leaving all the guests feeling like they couldn’t eat another bite, but leaving me hungry for another and another and another wonderful event where I can cook great food for people and watch them mingling and enjoying the company of their fellow diners. The next opportunity is already booked into the calendar and the preparation is well underway.

Thanksgiving Turkey [327/366]

Sunday, November 23rd will see Follies transported to the good ol’ US of A and all diners will enjoy a thoroughly American Thanksgiving feast. The evening will begin at 5pm with some all American canapés and those will be followed by a leisurely three course dinner full of traditional holiday dishes. Don’t worry, there will be nothing out of a packet or tin here! Everything will be home made and the recipes have been tweaked and modernized to please your 21st century palates.

Pumpkin soup with bacon and pecan cream

Orange and fennel-brined turkey, cornbread and andouille stuffing, whipped vanilla bean sweet potatoes with marshmallows and green bean casserole served with pan gravy, cranberry sauce and buttermilk biscuits

Pecan pie with maple bourbon bacon ice cream

Tickets

The tickets are £27.50 per person and can be purchased by cash, bank transfer or online through EventBrite (booking fees apply). To arrange purchase with cash or by bank transfer, please contact me (Pami) on acrusteaten@gmail.com. To purchase tickets through EventBrite, please visit this page. Tickets must be purchased in advance. Once the tickets have been purchased you will receive an email confirmation from me which will include any further information you might need.

Seating and Groups

The seating arrangement will be banquet style and hopefully it’ll mean that you will make lots of new friends on the night. I will seat groups of people together as best I can, but it is likely that you will be sat next to someone you don’t know. How fun is that!

Alcohol

The alcohol policy is bring your own. There will be no corkage charge for this event.

Dietary Restrictions

If you have any dietary restrictions, please get in touch on acrusteaten@gmail.com as soon as possible and I will do what I can. Unfortunately, due to the nature of the event I will not be able to offer alternative dishes on the night.

Cancellations

Should you need to cancel, please give me as much notice as possible by emailing acrusteaten@gmail.com. Unfortunately due to the advanced ordering and preparation required for this event, no refunds will be given. With enough notice we may be able to fill your seat in which case a refund can be negotiated.
